All Style, No Substance?!
The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is semi-fun but the controls are simply terrible. The character has no ducking move or rolling (avoiding) move rendering boss fights incredibly frustrating and tedious. The significance of the day counter holds no bearing when it should be used to incorporate secret routes or something. The high score has no significance because the player simply needs to reply the same stage over and over via back to map option. The game itself has a lot of potential if only the developers would:
Extend the story line with hidden routes and bonuses
Add a dodging move like a forward roll of something that grants some form of avoiding bosses, instead of the luck game with the first boss, hopping and hoping for life pots from the minions
With that said I would be more interested if the developer released an Invader Zim themed game with the same style but better gameplay. Lastly this game needs a serious update.
